I’m an Arizona-based relationship coach, passionate about helping people live more peaceful, happier lives. Whether you’re looking to improve a romantic relationship, family interactions, or find peace in chaos, I have the experience, tools and dedication needed to help you achieve your desired results.
I have spent my professional life assisting individuals by helping them gain a better understanding of themselves, their strengths and tools to navigate through various challenges in their lives.
The most effective way to manage a difficult relationship is to know yourself well. I will help you do that using a strengths based approach, understanding your history and assisting you in identifying your strengths and tools.
I believe in empowering my clients with education regarding personalities and how they are created. Difficult relationships have themes and patterns that are critical to understand and gaining insight into your specific themes and patterns will assist you in navigating the specific challenges you may be facing in your relationship.
My professional experience has focused on behavior interventions. One of my strengths is helping my clients identify and solve problems thus preserving your energy, time and reduce chaos.
Not only do I bring my professional knowledge, training and experience to the table for my clients, I also bring my own personal experience. I come from a place of true understanding.
I lived through a very difficult relationship. I felt the confusion, experienced the self-doubt, and saw the changes in myself. I share this to help you understand that my ability to help you is based in research and real life. It is a powerful combination that will help you.
Don Clifton spent his life researching and inventing ways to help people maximize their potential. To understand not only who they are, but who they can become. His work led him to invent the CliftonStrengths Assessment to discover their natural talents and what they do best. I believe that knowing my own (and my client’s) strengths is critical to finding peace in difficult relationships. Over the past 10 years, I have taken the CliftonStrengths Assessment three times. Below are explanations of my strengths as described by CliftonStrengths.
I love to learn. I am energized by the steady and deliberate journey from ignorance to competence.
I love to solve problems. Whereas some are dismayed when they encounter yet another breakdown, I can be energized by it. I enjoy the challenge of analyzing the symptoms, identifying what is wrong, and finding the solution.
I believe in the unique qualities of each person. Because I am such a keen observer or other people’s strengths, I can draw out the best in each person.
When others start to argue about their pet theory or concept, I steer clear of the debate, preferring to talk about practical, down-to-earth matters on which everyone can agree. In my view, we are all in the same boat, and we need this boat to get where we are going. It is a good boat. There is no need to rock it just to show that it can be rocked.
Some may call it the collective unconscious. Others may label it spirit or life force. But whatever your word of choice, I gain confidence from knowing that we are not isolated from one another or from the earth and the life on it.
